Rebecca called me the day before and wanted to know if I was free last minute for her son’s bris. I was able to move some things around and make it happen for all us. Jonathan and Rebecca were so excited to have this special celebration for their first born child. Grandma knitted little baby a tiny kippah with crocheted trains on it. A whole group of friends and family came for the ceremony and celebration. At the end of the ceremony the family announces the son’s name, which was Elisha Dov. Elisha was named after family members of Jonathan and Rebecca. In Torah Elisha was a strong charismatic leader who helped the Jewish people uphold traditions. Little Elisha Dov is already loved by many families members and it was an honor to photograph the first special milestone in his life.
