Every family comes to me wanting something different. Some need a few photographs for holiday cards, while others want to update the pictures on their walls, celebrate a milestone, or photograph their entire extended family. I created a flexible system that keeps things fair while giving each family exactly what they need. I’m based in Cranford and photograph families throughout Union County, including Westfield, Scotch Plains, Fanwood, Clark, Garwood, Summit, Springfield, Roselle Park, Linden, Rahway, and nearby communities.
Every standard session includes up to one hour of camera time. Afterward, we’ll meet on Google Meet to view your finished gallery, and you’ll choose the exact images you want.
The collections are listed below. If you’re unsure which one is right for you, you can always upgrade after seeing your photographs.
Do we choose a collection before the session?
Nope. I only require you to begin with the 5 Image Collection. After your photographs are ready, we’ll meet on Google Meet and look through the finished gallery together. You can keep your five favorite images or upgrade to the 15 Image Collection or Full Gallery. You don’t have to make that decision until you’ve seen your photographs.
Do we choose the individual photographs?
Yes. They’re your family photographs, so you should be the one deciding which moments matter most. We’ll meet on Google Meet and look through your finished gallery together. You’ll choose the exact images you want. You won’t receive a group of photographs selected for you, and you won’t have to pay for images you don’t love.
Do you offer mini sessions?
Not in the traditional sense. I understand why families ask for them. Sometimes you only need a few photographs, and budget is the most important part of the decision. But a few final images shouldn’t mean your family has to create them in a few rushed minutes. Every standard session includes up to one hour of camera time, even if you ultimately choose only five photographs. Your children have time to warm up, we have room to try different things, and nobody has to panic because the clock is ticking. You can still choose the smaller collection. You just don’t have to settle for a smaller experience.
Where will our session take place?
I’m based in Cranford, New Jersey, and I’ll choose a beautiful nearby location based on the season, light, and what is photographing well at that time. You don’t need to search for the perfect place. I’ll handle that for you. One of my recommended seasonal locations is included with your session. If you prefer your home, a private residence, or another specific location, the custom-location add-on is $200. Travel outside my standard service area is an additional $200.
Do you photograph extended families?
Yes and I understand that photographing a large family takes more than simply asking everyone to stand together and smile. There are grandparents with grandchildren, adult siblings, cousins, couples, individual households, and the full group. Those combinations matter, and I don’t want to rush through them. The Extended-Family Session upgrade is $200 and includes an additional 30 minutes of scheduled camera time. That gives us up to 90 minutes to organize everyone and capture the photographs your family came together for.
