A lot of work goes into a well-planned party, and those details disappear quickly once guests enter the room.

I arrive with enough time to photograph the space before it changes. Depending on the event, that may include:

I photograph arrivals, conversations, reactions, family members seeing each other, children playing, speeches, candle lighting, cake cutting, and the dance floor. I’m also paying attention to the quieter moments happening outside the center of the room.

You’ll receive the formal photographs you expect and plenty of moments you did not realize I was there for.

You should have a photograph with the people who matter to you, but your guests should not spend the entire party waiting for pictures.

I’ll organize the important family groupings, give clear direction, and move through them efficiently. We can photograph the person celebrating with parents, siblings, grandparents, extended family, and close friends.

Once those are finished, everyone can go back to the party.

Restaurants, ballrooms, private homes, and event spaces all have different lighting. Some are beautiful in person and terrible for phone pictures.

I bring professional lighting and know how to use it without turning your party into a photo shoot. Your gallery will look consistent from the room photographs through the candle lighting and dancing.

The photographs will be bright and colorful, and everyone will still have natural skin tones.

Yes. I use professional cameras, flash, and off-camera lighting when needed. You do not need to choose your venue based on the available light.
