Sometimes the best place for family pictures is five minutes from your house.

You don't need to drive an hour to a famous park, convince your kids that this is going to be "fun," and turn family pictures into an entire Saturday production.

The important part isn't where we take them. It's who's in them.

I want to give you a beautiful picture of everyone together, but I also want the little things. Your kids laughing. The way they interact with each other right now. Parents actually getting into the pictures instead of documenting everyone else from behind a phone.

Family pictures can be easy

I don't expect your kids to show up ready to pose perfectly for an hour.

We'll get the classic photographs first. Everyone together, grandparents if they're coming, siblings, individual kids, parents together and whatever other combinations make sense for your family.

Then we have room to play.

My photographs are bright and colorful with natural skin tones. I give you a mix of the pictures you'll want to frame and the candid ones that might end up being your favorites.

Stay close to home

One of the nice things about photographing families in Kenilworth is that we don't have to make the location complicated.

Kenilworth has neighborhood parks and green spaces, including DiMario Park, Louis Wood Park and Black Brook Park. Kenilworth Borough But we don't have to use a park at all.

Your own backyard might be perfect. We can use your home. Or we can go a few minutes outside of Kenilworth if there's a particular look you want.

I care much more about finding a location that works for your family, your kids and the time of year than taking every family to the same pretty spot.

Don't wait until everyone is older

There is always a reason to put family pictures off.

Someone wants to lose weight. Someone needs a haircut. A teenager doesn't want to do it. Your toddler is in a phase. Everyone's schedules are ridiculous.

And then somehow the picture you meant to take this year becomes the picture you haven't taken in five years.

You don't need everyone to be at some imaginary perfect stage. This version of your family is worth photographing too.

What you'll get

You will receive at least 50 professionally edited, full-resolution digital photographs with personal printing rights. Galleries are generally delivered in about one week.

You can order professional prints through your online gallery if you'd like, but it's completely optional. There is no required sales appointment afterward.
