Yes isn't that why we ALL click the FAQ on a page? I'm not going to bury it at the bottom or write "please inquire". I custom create packages for my wedding clients based on their unique needs and preferences. I do have a minimum coverage requirement of 2 hours Friday, Saturday and Sunday, which starts at $500. My family session start at $500 and include $200 print credit to be applied towards heirloom products. You are absolutely paying for an experienced, licensed, and fully insured professional. I put everything possible into my images, I want you to have beautiful photos that last a lifetime. You are paying for quality and confidence you will have a great tangible memories that will last you a lifetime.
I call my style relaxed natural light (ish).. Meanings that I love using natural light and the light from the environment I'm in, but if the light is not flatting for my subject, I do not hesitate to pull out a flash. I also try to put my subjects into natural poses and poses that fit their personality and body type.
That's the awesome thing about hiring me. I love helping clients design wall art and albums. I usually will come to your house and measure the space on your wall and help you pick out the custom art that best suits your needs
I shoot everything on high end DSLRs. They all have two slot for SD cards in case one of them does not work. I also back up my images on my computer and external right away. Then I upload to my cloud storage. I never have only 1 copy of your images.
I am covered for up to $1 million in liability insurance. Many venues won’t even let the photographer through the door unless they are fully insured. Let me know in advance if you require a proof of liability insurance in advance of the event.
I typically provide on average 60-100 images for every hour of a wedding. If you had an 8 hour wedding expect 500-1000+ images on average. It depends on how the day flows. If there's a lot of action and dancing- I will shoot it, but if there's mostly people eating or casually talking- I will politely keep my camera down after a few shots. All the photos will color balanced and digitally processed for printing.
No, I do not. I eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that hurt the overall product delivery. For example, because I shoot with low apertures, sometimes I take a few extra shots to make sure we have the perfect focus. I don’t expect you to have the expertise or the time to zoom into each image to select the one with the sharpest focus, so I spend hours doing that on my end. In another example, candid laughs and emotional tears are some of the best images from the day. Unfortunately, they can also yield some unflattering facial expressions. I might snap a few extras of any of these moments to make sure we have a great shot with the ideal expression for the moment. I only deliver the ones where you and your guest look your best
Yes, I have experience in many fields of photography. I love families and babies along with weddings. Contact me and we'll set up something fun to capture your family memories, or give you the professional image you need to succeed
I buy all professional camera equipment. All my lenses have an f-stop of f/2.8 or wider. This allows more light into the lens and camera. I also have several lights I can fire off camera to make sure I can light any type of location. Even if you decide to marry in a cave, I know I can light it.
For a variety of reasons, I have to charge for the time in between events. The fact is, I'm never truly resting during the day, whether I'm reviewing images, changing card/batteries, setting up for the venue, traveling to the second location, taking venue shots, or making up for lost photo time because of wedding day delays. In many cases, I use that “downtime” to take you and your significant other out for a photo session or more family portraits.
I organize, hand edit all the files to perfection, and back up everything from your wedding. All of this is very time consuming. Contractually all delivered in three months, but often I strive to deliver them sooner and have never so far needed the whole three months time.
In most cases, you can print your photos up to 11x14 inches without any quality loss. If you’d like to print larger than 11x14, additional post-production will be required. For pricing on these services, please contact me
Yes, but at an additional cost. Please inquire. I generally recommend using one for weddings over 250 people or when you have a several particular images you need on your wedding day.
I'd love to help you with this, but the answer is I'm not sure. There are many locations that come to mind that do require a permit (Universities, NJ county parks, central park). The permit needs to be obtained by the client, not the photographer. If you have a questions about a location let me know and I will do my best to help. If we shoot in location that requires a permit and we don't have one, we will be asked to leave. I do not want that to happen
You're in luck, I keep all your photos back up for a year, and sometimes longer. I do recommend have more than one copy of your images stored somewhere if you lose your images please email me
Absolutely. I strongly believe in those family images, as they're records of your entire family at an important time in their history together. About a month before your wedding I'll send you a questionnaire covering the details of the day and among the other questions is a list of posed images. You'll have space to write in your own groupings. I do recommend no more than 12-13 group photos to keep spirits up and not bore your loved ones. These groupings are quick, easy, and I try to make them pleasant and enjoyable for everyone involved!
I'm so sorry, but be fair to everyone I can't "hold" a date without a retainer and a signed contract. I accept bookings on a first come/first served basis. I will informally "pencil in" a date and try to keep you informed about it. But I am not legally bound to give it to you without a contract and deposit made.
I book weddings up to 18 months in advance. I book family photos up to 6 months in advance Monday-Thursdau days, and 2 months in advance for Friday Saturday and Sunday
Absolutely! I get asked this often by clients. I never expect someone who isn't a professional model to be able to pose beautifully. I shoot with an easy style and do natural poses. I make sure that you look great in all your photos. Some people take a little longer to warm up, and in those cases I make sure that you feel comfortable and relaxed while I am shooting. These are nothing like your high school yearbook photos. I promise, I make it painless and fun, and you will look AMAZING
