You probably take a lot of pictures of your family. What you probably don't have enough of are good pictures with everyone actually in them.

Not just the kids. Not just whoever happened to be around that day. And not another picture where one parent is missing because they were holding the phone.

I want to give you photographs of your whole family together.

Family pictures can be beautiful without feeling formal

I love bright color, natural skin tones, and photographs that feel happy.

We'll absolutely take the classic family picture where everyone is looking at the camera. But we don't need 50 versions of it.

I photograph different groupings throughout the session. Parents with the kids, siblings together, individual portraits, couples, and whatever combinations make sense for your family.

We'll also get the pictures that happen in between. Sometimes those end up being the ones you like the most.

Bring the grandparents

Family pictures don't have to mean two parents and little kids.

If Grandma lives five minutes away, bring her.

If your kids are grown and everyone is actually home on the same weekend, get them together.

If there are cousins you basically raised like siblings, they can come too.

Families don't all look the same, and I don't think family sessions need to either.

The important part is getting photographs of the people who are important to you while you can actually get everyone in the same place.

Where should we take family pictures in Plainfield?

Plainfield gives us something a little different because there are beautiful older homes, tree-lined neighborhoods, parks, and more architectural backgrounds.

So we don't automatically have to find another big green field.

If you love the character of your neighborhood or your home has a beautiful porch or yard, we can photograph there. If you'd rather have trees and greenery, we can do that too.

I like choosing the location around the family instead of choosing the family around the location.

Your finished photographs

You will receive at least 50 professionally edited, full-resolution digital photographs with personal printing rights. Galleries are generally delivered in about one week.

Professional prints are available through your online gallery, but ordering them is completely optional. There is no required sales appointment afterward.
