Cottage core style engagement photography session at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum in Morristown NJ

Marlee and Chris love Disney and cottage core style. They walked in saying they had no photos of themselves together besides goofy selfies and were ready for beautiful photos. Marlee’s dress was from Torrid and had flowers to match the garden. Her ring was a very unique emerald. The deep green complimented her skin tone.

They Loved The Frelinghuysen Arboretum and it was local to Chris. The Frelinghuysen Arboretum is named after the The Frelinghuysen family. They built their summer home in 1895 on the grounds.

The breath takings acres of The Frelinghuysen Arboretum offer a serene place to relax, as well as to learn, explore, and celebrate. It is surrounded by a magnificent Colonial Revival mansion, meadows, gardens, the woodlands, and distinctive collections of trees and shrubs. The entire place provides an ideal setting for leisurely enjoyment. The grounds and house made the perfect cottage core background for photos and fit Marlee and Chris’s style.

We walked around chatting about Disney movies and the trip Marlee took with my sister to Orlando Disney World. The weather was perfect. My poses had a lot of twirling and soft close moments. I made sure the garden’s famous flowers were in the photos and showed off the love Marlee and Chris have for each other.
