Elopement at Warinanco Park in Elizabeth, NJ

A Spring Elopement at Warinanco Park in Roselle, NJ

When Tracy first reached out to me, she told me she wanted her photos to feel warm, classic, and relaxed — timeless but true to who they are. After 20 years of love, life, and raising their amazing daughter, Tracy and Calvin were ready to make it official. And they chose a spot close to home: Warinanco Park, nestled between Roselle and Elizabeth in Union County, NJ.

Warinanco is one of my favorite elopement locations in North Jersey — a hidden gem with lush landscaping, walking trails, and pockets of beautiful scenery. On this particular day, we hit the jackpot. The weather was perfect, and the purple spring blooms in the park were in full show-off mode. It couldn’t have been more beautiful.

We had a short window of time, but I made sure to work my magic and give them a full gallery of memories. From sweet, quiet portraits to wide shots of the blooming backdrop, we captured so much in just one part of the park. Every photo reflects the love, humor, and history they share.

And then there’s Gizmo — their French Bulldog and clearly the true star of the day. Gizmo smiled in nearly every shot, trotted around like he was the star, and happily photobombed every chance he got. He knew his humans were finally tying the knot and he wasn’t going to miss a second.

Tracy wore Badgley Mischka heels for her “something blue,” and Calvin surprised her with a second wedding band — a beautiful symbol of everything they’ve built together. When they kissed, the whole group cheered.

We ended our time at Warinanco with some family portraits — Gizmo included, of course — and even though it was a short and sweet celebration, the love was unmistakably real.

If you're planning a Warinanco Park elopement in Union County, this park is a dream. Whether you're from Roselle, Elizabeth, or anywhere nearby, it's a beautiful, accessible location for intimate ceremonies and meaningful moments.
