Simple Farm Wedding at Eagle Point Weddings & Retreats in Maryland

It was a perfect wedding day weather wise. Shanna and Zach kept the ceremony simple by not having any bridal party and a smaller guest list. They wrote their own vows to each other Shanna wore a classic white dress with flower applique and veil, white platform sneakers, and floral piece in the back of her hair , She also wore her grandmother's earrings and other grandmother's necklace, Zach wore khaki pants, white button-up shirt, burgundy bow tie and suspenders to matches his mom, brown dress shoes, and had coin with his dad’s photo. Shanna and Zach were excited about having everyone they love together for one day their wedding day. Zach's brother married them and that's a surprise to their mom. There were also food stations to let people walk around and mingle all night, their dog in the ceremony, photos of them with all their guests throughout our lives hanging in the tent. Shanna's friend played the guitar as they walk down the aisle, and they wrote letters to each guest thanking them for being in their lives

Shanna and Zach met when they were 16 working their first jobs at a restaurant. they were friends for a while and decided to finally go on a date in 2017. Since then, they bought a house down the street from that same restaurant, adopted a dog and two cats, and got engaged. Zach recreated their 5th anniversary date and proposed on the beach in Belmar with a beautiful blush stone ring

Eagle Point Retreat Center was the only place they visited and they knew it was the place after seeing it with their own eyes. Shanna wanted open spaces and sunlight, while Zach wanted a place where his family could spend weekends together. It is on the water, quiet, without neighbors.

The ring bearer was Rin, Shana Zack's border collie In the tent, everyone was playing lawn games and handing out snacks. They also set up a video booth where people can record messages for them from this side of the tent. Shana and Zach mingled with everyone, then they joined every one in the reception area of ​​the tent and sat at a table with their parents.

Shanna's sister Lindsey gave the only toast. She is Shana's older sister, worked with them at the restaurant and was Zach's friend even before Zach met Shanna.

The night ended with guest rushing out side the tent for an ice cream truck visiting. Everyone loved all the variety of frozen treats to end the night.
