I’ve worked with Catalina for years. It's always an honor when a client decides to hire me again for their event or photoshoot. I was so excited to work with her again, Catalina is the GOAT of pinterest and always has beautiful creative ideas for all her events. Samu’s second birthday was no different
The theme was absolutely adorable- Samu is TWO fast. The whole party was pastel blue race cars. Samu is such a great little toddler boy who is in love with anything with wheels that goes vroooom-vroom. You walk in and the first thing you see is a beautiful balloon arch with blow up car wheels and a traffic light. Next you are going to grab your racing medal with your name assigned table number. Catalina, Samu, and the Grandmas all had one coordinating racing jumpsuits
Samu’s favorite party detail was the simplest, a DIY project his dad made. It was a wood ramp sized for several hotwheel racing cars to quickly roll down. Samu would over and over again grab a little car and squeal with joy and delight as the car whooshed down the ramp. I love this ramp too because all the kids liked it and it made for easy smiling pictures of the little toddlers.
After some delicious hot food, a magic show was set up by a magician. He did some crazy cool magic tricks and then had some audience participation tricks. Next was some fun for the adults. Two of the dad’s at the party had a test to see who was a better magician and juggler. Everyone was cracking up at them as they did all the dance moves with a lot of pizazz. The magician ended his shift with balloon animals for the kids ages 2 until 102. Even the aunt and uncles without kids walked out with a fun balloon crown.
Towards the end of the party after cake. Catalina, David, Samu and I all went outside on the light up patio for some last minute night portraits. Mom and dad did samu’s favorite game which is swinging between both their arms. The last few portraits were Samu standing solo, he is now such a big boy who has grown so much in the past two years.
